After attempting to make them the old fashioned way (circles of card anyone?) and realising I'm rubbish, I am (slightly) cheating and using a pom pom maker (you still wrap the yarn, mmkay?). The resulting pom poms are pom pomtastic, and I very much hope to post the finished garland (and maybe a tutorial) here soon.
